Our History

The Drop Zone, a well-known austin disc golf store, is owned by Gary Harris, Pdga # 2675. Gary began his journey in disc golf back in 1982 at the first basket course, Bartholomew Park, which was installed in Austin. While he may not drive as far these days, Gary continues to compete in tournaments. All of our employees at this disc golf store in Austin are avid disc golfers themselves.
